New Shift In Australian PR For International Students
Australia is all ready to welcome some reforms that will let international students express their intent for immigration when they complete the visa application. This step was taken by the Albanese government so they could promote the students’ permanent migration to the country instead of temporary. Today, in this blog, we will be talking about the shift in policy and the new Genuine Student Test.
Australia’s Shift in Policy
In the past, all international students had to follow the guidelines of Genuine Temporary Entrants. These guidelines were used to limit students’ stay till their tertiary education was completed. The student also had to submit a 300-word statement which expressed their reasoning for studying abroad. This statement didn’t include any intention to acquire residency with the studied program.
