Australia Has No Limits On Issuing Subclass 500 Student Visas

 Interestingly, there is no cap on student visas subclass 500. According to statistics, 283,573 student visas were granted during the first half of the 2022-23 program year. Moreover, there were 456,970 student visa holders in Australia on 31 December 2022, confirming a surge of 44.6% compared to the statistics on 31 December 2021.



Don’t forget Australia’s student visa subclass 500 program came under fire in 2020, as the Australian government asked temporary visa holders to exit the country before closing the borders due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now reports suggest that study visa applications might incur significant boosts above pre-pandemic levels.
