The Indian-American Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi has proposed a bill to double the annual allocation of the H-1B work visas. You may know that this is a super popular visa among Indian professionals.


This bill is cleverly called the High-Skilled Immigration Reform for Employment or the HIRE Act for short. It’s aimed to boost funding for STEM education right here in America.
