ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST SUSPENDED FOR AUSTRALIA VISA APPLICANTS

 Today’s blog update is about TOEFL iBT being Temporarily Suspended for Australian Visa Applications until further notice.

 

Did you know that TOEFL iBT, is one of the authorized English language tests for Australian visa applications? Recently, it was found that this test will not be available for visa purposes from 26 July 2023 until further notice. This suspension is because of the significant revisions being announced to the test by ETS, the association that administers TOEFL iBT, which are presently under evaluation by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.


Suggestions for Existing TOEFL iBT Test Takers

 

Please keep in mind that, for those who have previously undergone the TOEFL iBT test, there’s no need to be concerned. The interruption only involves those applicants who intend to take the test after 26 July 2023. TOEFL iBT scores stay valid for Australian visa applications on condition that they were attained before the cut-off date.
